The design concept for this project is inspired by the 1993 film The Secret Garden, drawing on its historical references to Edwardian-era England and its story of escaping the mundane by discovering enchantment in a mysterious, secluded garden.
The Windermere Inn greets guests with a cozy English country-style lobby, and takes guests on a transportive journey. Visitors will feel as if they’ve stumbled upon a whimsical garden after wandering through the misty moors of the English countryside. Biophilic elements, rich verdant hues, and lush materials create an immersive experience that is equal parts restorative and delightful.
